What is your jam/jelly recipe?
I'm going to start canning next spring when I get home and I love jelly, so.... Also, if anyone has any good canning recipes or tips, I would appreciate it!

Ooohh I would like some recipes too! MIL made some awesome strawberry jam, but its almost gone so I would like to make some more. I'll see if I can get the recipe from her.

We love tomatoe preserves. So sweet and yummy. Sugar and tomatoes! Boil water dip tomatoe for just a few sec, them remove, do all, them seal the skind off. Chop and put in a pan, as they cook smash and smash! When they get pretty mushy and cooked astart adding 1 cup of sugar at a time. Till they are super thik then can as usual. This is usually an all day event. Slow and lots of stirring! You can also add some pectin (I think that's what it's called) so you don't need as much sugar!
Serve with homeade hot yummy buiscuts!!

I went "jelly and jam" happy this year. The kids had a blast making it. I got about 90% from sure jell's website.
