Awesome! I so want to do this. I have the gerber prefolds, now I just need a sewing machine and to learn how to sew....but I want to do that anyway!

Great idea!

Totally off topic but we seem to have the same test in wedding rings!

I did this the other day! I have made 3 with some preemie pf's I had. They are all different. I backed them with fleece and on one I put a flowered strip of flannel to pretty it up. Thanks for this!!

Well now I *KNOW* I'm not selling off any of my well-loved PF's when youngest DD is out of dipes--I have a 7yo (and four younger girls after her) who will be in need of a cloth pad stash of their own in a few years!!! I should be able to outfit the whole bunch with all of my PF's!

I need a serger. Hmm .......... DH just spoiled himself rotten with a Xoom tablet, maybe it's time for ME to get spoiled!?

What a great idea (and tute)! I just dyed some of DD's gerber prefolds a pretty tie dyed pink and now they break her skin out! I was gonna FFS them but now I am gonna make my first mama cloth! I've been wanting some mama cloth for a while but thought you had to buy really expensive fabrics. I'm totally excited to whip some cute tie dyed mama cloth out! Thanks!

Re: Prefold to Mama Cloth Tutorial (pic heavy)

I just tryed out my own version of mama cloth this month. I just used trifolded preemie prefolds I had laying around. I didn't want to spend alot of money if I hated it. But I loved it, an for the first time didnt get a rash!! I cant wait to make some of these! I have a ton of prefolds, an didnt want to sell them due to shipping costs. This is perfect!

This is so awesome, I'm so doing this too! Anyone who used them as postpartum pads want to weigh in with how well they worked?
