My first OB appointment is next week.. I'll be 10.5 weeks. It was supposed to be last week, but I rescheduled it so I wouldn't have to take DD (DH is on vacation now). Realistically there is NOTHING they can do for you that early other than some preliminary bloodwork and make sure you are taking prenatals.

With DS, I didn't start seeing my midwife until 14 weeks.. they saw me around 5 weeks and gave me a tour of the birthing center and some prenatal vitamins, but told me I didn't need to come back until I started my 2nd trimester... so I didn't

With DD I went in to see my OB at 8 weeks, but I needed to have an ultrasound to make sure my IUD wasn't still in there.. I didn't realize I was pg with her until I was a few weeks late (had a LOT going on at the time!) and that was the soonest they could see me.

You should test though, to be sure.. since you recently M/C your cycle may not be regular yet I'd hate to see you get your hopes up again like you did a few month ago and not be pregnant

even if youre 27 weeks and your belly is out to there, kwim? i never went until then, and then i was asked if i had gotten a test done after the appt, talking to a lady who was supposedly helping me, and im like... "ummm...??" and pointed at my belly and she said "well its just to make sure"

I always test! I have been up to 6 weeks late, just knew I was, symptoms and all, and thought the tests were wrong....nope...just wayyyy late for whatever reason.

So I just HAVE to see the pink lines!!

and brenda, i think i would anyway, even if you wait a few weeks, just so you can have proof if there ends up being a question of anything, kwim? and i thik i would anyway, just for peace of mind and not thinking im nuts and second guessing myself, LOL!
maybe buy one or 2 strip off a mama here? shouldnt be more than 2 bucks, at most with shipping...
