Potty Party!

Well our DD went Pee Pee on the Potty this morning.

I was thinking of tring her out with it for a while now because she was making some signs like she was ready but I thought she was too young, 16 months.

DH put her on the potty this morning after breakfast and gave her the Sears catalogue to read She sat there reading it then went.

She was so excited and proud so we had a little Potty Party

Could this be the beginning of the end of CD's for her.

Doubtful for a while yet it's a long process but so cute I had to share!

Yeah!!!

My DD is 2 1/2. Today was her second day in big girl panites. No accidents. She has shown some interest, but it was only here and there.

Goodluck!!!

WTG!!!!
We started pottying Fri. Shes 22mo and things have gone really good!!
Just remember she could revert and not be intrested next week and pushing her could make things worse.

Re: Potty Party!

Oh wow, congrats and at the same time, mama!
DS started more and more staying dry for a longer period of time and telling me when he peed, so now we got a potty in the house too.. I only need to start including it into a daily routine now... (I admit I've been neglecting that part )

Re: Potty Party!

fyi, most kids (heck adults for that matter) have to pee within 5-10 minutes or so of waking up - so that's a great time to start catching pee and having success, to get them excited about it.

we EC, so DS has been sitting on the potty in the morning every day since he was like 8 months old. it works like a charm as long as you don't linger in bed too long
