I am running out of recipes for dd who is 18 mos so I need some new kid friendly recipes with no dairy product or eggs because she is allergic to these. So please share your recipes if you have some that are kid friendly.

i don't have any handy, but check out the advanced search at http://mealsforyou.com/ -- you can select categories or ingredients to avoid and it will spit out recipes without them for you! it has come in so handy for us with ds's food sensitivities.

Re: IDSO recipes with no dairy or eggs!
We were dairy free for almost a year when I was nursing dd.... Dairy really seemed to irritate her stomach, and she was colicky, so we did everything we could to help! Anyhow, the best things I could reccomend are 1) look for vegetarian/vegan recipes (esp. vegan).. vegan don't have dairy or eggs at all, and many vegetarian don't. I picked up a great cookbook at books a million with loads of great vegetarian/vegan recipes. and 2) There are dairy alternatives for almost everything. I still cook with rice milk a lot! I like it better than soy... I never found a rice or soy milk that I personally would drink.. but then I don't drink cow's milk either..... They do make soy butter, or as a healthier alternative you can use coconut oil in nearly everything that butter is in (if you don't like a coconut flavor, make sure to do your homework on what kind you can get that doesn't make everything coconutty!) Kroger carries a brand that is great for that! And, you can buy extra-virgin at vitacost.com for much cheaper than stores.... There are also cheese alternatives, but we don't have a health food store nearby and the brands they carry in the local stores here are just gross!

Go to www.vegweb.com and look at their recipes. They are all vegan recipes, but you can add meat to some of them if you want. I think they even have a section of "kid friendly" recipes!

Re: IDSO recipes with no dairy or eggs!
Well, I can't help much with the egg part, BUT my dd's are all allergic to milk and I use almond milk as a substitute in all our recipes. It works fine. I saw a recipe for something called wacky cake yesterday that had no milk or eggs. I know that wouldn't be a staple of her diet, but it would be a nice treat! Here is a recipe:

For a treat, these are my all time favorite oatmeal cookies! There are no eggs but you might have to substitute something for the butter.
