bread maker recipes

Can i get some bread maker recipes from you ladies? I have one and am about to sell it bc every time I make a loaf it comes out really dense, not airy and bread-like. I have tried bread machine yeast, but that didnt work. Also, what is a good way to slice the small loaves?
Thanks

This is where I get most of mine: www.bread-machine-recipes.com

Also, do you use bread flour. Works better then all-purp flour. if you use all-purp flour add vital wheat gluten.

Re: bread maker recipes

I have found a couple of tricks because my first few loaves were horrible.

I use red star bread machine yeast. When you are using bread machine yeast, you only use a 1/2tsp per cup of flour in the recipe. Even if the recipe tells you to use more than that, dont.

Also, when using bread machine yeast or any quick rising yeast, the best things to do is bake all your breads on the basic cycle. I kept making my sweet breads on the sweet cycle and they never turned out. Once I made them on the basic cycle, they are yummy.

I like the bread machine recipes at bettycrocker.com. We love the fresh herb bread (I substitute in dried herbs for some) and the sour cream and vanilla bread (it is basically a good sweet white bread, not at all like the description tells you online).

I have some more but the baby is causing trouble (gotta love crawling) so I will try to get on later with more.

Oh, I forgot. Make sure you fluff your flour with a spoon first and then gently spoon it into your measuring cup. If you scoop it out or just measure it without aerating it, you may get too much flour and you bread will be hard.
