Help Me Out Here...re: Ovulation

Okay. I had a m/c in October (beginning) I got my cycle back ont he 6th of November and I got my period on the 1st of this month. Since the D&C my periods have been super light and only like 4-5 days.

ANYWAY,

Since yesterday Ive been feeling weird little twinges? Like in my lower abdomen, and I'm totally freaking out. I'm really not ready for another baby. DH and I have been uh...pretty active as of late (although not in a few days - several days like 5ish). And, I've MADE him use protection except for once but that was literally the day my period ended and he pulled out. I'm so embarassed.

So, what do you think these "twinge" feelings are? Nerves? Ovulation? Is it too late for me to be ovulating right now as my period was over around the 5th.

Help a mama out! Talk me down.

Jena, ever since I had Isabel, I get some cramping and twinging when I ovulate. There's actually a German word for it - middleschmertz

You could definitely be ovulating. Do you have lubey-feeling cervical fluid? Like egg white?

The egg-whitey stuff is usually what's associated with ovulation. Did you have any of that earlier in the month?

I dunno. I dont pay much attention to it. Ive never really noticed egg whitey stuff. But, I know I obviously ovulate.

Well, any wet cervical fluid is considered fertile, so if you're trying to avoid, you definitely need to use a barrier. Egg white quality is the "primo" fertile stuff, and O cramping is common, pain on one side, low.

Yup Yup.

Pain low, on both sides, but not at the same time. Off and on.

There will be NO SEX happening now. LOL I dunno. I went to some ovulation sites and according to all but 1 I ovulated between the 10-12th. Of course, I know that those arent like 100% correct. *sigh* I hate this. I really need to get back on the pill.
