i am so impressed, OP and other mamas! i am feeling sad and frustrated that i haven't really figured out NIP yet... and my DD is 10 weeks old. i want to just get out and about and not worry about it! just got a zolowear sling and am going to a babywearing get-together in a week - hope to get some good tips then!

I still can't figure out nursing while wearing my daughter, but I still get that excited proud feeling every time I feed her in public! Good for you!

It takes a little practice...but most importantly you have to be comfortable. Don't be afraid to make the sling really tight and snug the baby right up to you, I see allot of mama's wearing slings too loose. It is ok to squish your lo up to you, they spent 9months squished up inside you, they are comfortable that way even if they don't look like it to you.

Ha! Sling nursing is the best. When my DS was little, he would be nursing and my in-laws would come look in and pet his hair and never realize he was nursing! My DH and I would just giggle about it!
