Stride Rite vs Robeez Tredz vs other???

My DD needs new shoes, and I really want the best shoe for her foot development (flat feet run in my family). She is barefoot whenever possible, but sometimes, shoes are just plain required.

SO, I was wondering the difference between Stride Rite, Robeez Tredz, and maybe some other shoe that I am unaware of. She just grew out of her Stride Rite Baby Steps shoe.

Thanks!

You should check out www.softstarshoes.com
They are the best imo. The sole is very thin and flexible. Of all the shoes Lily has, she walks the best and most naturally in these. From what I have read being barefoot is the best for the baby's foot developement and soft star's are the closest I have found to that. AND, you get to design your own...FUN!

I love Robeez Tredz for my daughter as she has narrow feet. She needs to have a good grippy sole as she is a runner and the pedipeds caused her to fall as they have zero traction. I have looked at Stride Rite several times and don't like them. They seem very stiff. I just love the soft leather. I buy all of Caroline's shoes at an online store called Tiny Soles. They have all the good brands(not stride rite) and wonderful customer service.

Hmmmm...

I found that Robeez Tredz are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association .

I'm wondering this too. DD will probably be walking in the next few months, and while she can go barefoot inside and even outside most of the time, she'll need shoes with a waterproof sole because it's so wet around here most of the year. I picked up a pair of Pedoodles with their "PedFlex" rubber sole and it was still thicker than I was thinking it'd be. Anyone know about other options that are waterproof or otherwise okay for outdoors?

We really like our Pedipeds and See Kai Run shoes.

SKR is having a sale now too...

(SKR are very wide shoes. However, DD does not have a wide foot and she still does well with them)
