good morning ladies!

I was up WAAY too late. I got alot accomplished though! I'm afraid being a product of drug addict parents and then a foster child, I have no father to share. And I'm completely at peace with that. My path has taught me many things, and today, the only man I'll celebrate, is my own husband. Because we both came from broken lives, and decided together to make a difference. Our families lives from here on out will be different because we are making an example.

And that is a gorgeous dress Whitney!

Not sure really what's the plan for today, we need to make it over to my dad's today, and then to the IL's, I think we might try to eat out for lunch or brunch, but who knows. DH and Levi are watching cartoons on the couch.

dh and boys are at church - i nursed the baby twice, made a cake and started some lunch prep- bisquits and gravy - one of dh's favs

That is beautiful Macy. I think it is wonderful that you have peace within yourself.
I like to think I have peace too but mostly it's just me pushing it all to one side and pretending it didn't happen.
Its so not the same as having peace. But it's all I have.

I'm loving all the daddy pix! Keep em coming.

Rallying the troops for the lunch with my parents. Herding cats, as usual.

I took a pic of Ian in one of the homemade fitteds I made the last time I bought the diaper pin fabric, the brown background with the colored pins. It just barely fits him, any smaller and we'd be seeing crack and bits. Rare moment these days coverless, because he can pull velcro off. So the black and white version of the fabric I just bought, those will be snaps.

Continuing on with the herding of cats...

i so want a diaper out of that diaper pin fabric. the black & white. hmm. maybe i'll have to actually attempt to make a diaper.
