One of my fav pics in MY baby book, is a photo of my mom nursing me, and my big sister nursing her doll. So sweet.

Totally cute!!! When my dd was younger, my SIL and I were nursing her and my niece. My nephew pulls up his shirt and starts nursing his baby. Of coarse she ran and got the camera. It was so cute, especially because it is so not him. He doesn't even play with baby dolls.

Their beef probably stems from our cultures over-sexualization of breasts - even though toddlers don't have breasts. Unfortunately a lot of people are scared of BFing these days. And that's sad - as it's the most natural thing I can think of.

Thank you, mamas! Good to know I am not the only one who thinks it's cute. And that people without children should refrain from commenting or giving advice to parents, LOL.

I will try to get pics up later-- they are totally clothed, thank goodness, LOL!

It's weird to people that don't have kids.. People that have never actually breastfed a baby.. If miranda actually knew what breastfeeding was then I would assume she would Nurse her babies.. I actually wish she would, It would save me from cleaning cracker crumbs out of elmos mouth on a daily basis. lol

my daughter ( 5 ) does the same thing.. But the funniest time she did it. she had a shirt on with a chest pocket.. she took a baby doll bottle and put it in the pocket.. and then " breast fed her baby" lol but the bottle went with the doll so the baby could " latch on" I think it's just fine that you took the picture.. I wish I had thought about it when Allison did it.

My kids do the same thing. I took a picture the other day of my 4 yo with 4 babies stuffed up her shirt--she was having quads. And she made the best grunting sounds as she was giving birth, too. It's better to have pictures of everything than no pictures at all!

my kids both do this, it is not weird, whats weird is the comments made by people who do NOT HAVE KIDS!
i am sorry they tried to make you feel gross, they need to remove the sticks from there butts and mind there own business!
so many people BUY baby bottles for there kids dolls, and dont think anything of it, we as Breast feeding mamas, IMO would rather see our own children playing BF the babies instead of bottle feeding!
