Re: Editing too often?

I totally don't like this change at all... in the Healthy Living & Weightloss Forum we keep a weekly exercise log to keep each other motivated and we edit our post each day to add in our exercise we did that day... this ruins that... please do away with this new change.

Can I ask why this was done? I also think this is silly.

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Re: Editing too often?

I just went to update my WAHM Announcement Post since I am having a sale today, but I can't Does this mean I should start a new thread? I thought we were only supposed to have one thread running in that forum, but I have 2 announcements for today and can't edit my original post to reflect that. Very frustrating

Re: Editing too often?

i don't get this at all. so now when we want to read or post and update about something, we need to start an entirely new post, or if we are looking for an update, stalk the OP and hope we see the update? not sure of the point really.....

it is making it difficult to update posts or in our DDCs to add new info to the daily chatter threads..

I think with some fixes it would be a very good thing. Perhaps people will think twice before posting some of the things they post, and if not, at least they can't try to back out of it later. Own what you say!

Maybe if we understand why we can no longer edit our posts we would be more understanding.

Re: Editing too often?

Ok this is just not a fun thing now.. honestly.. this was one of the reasons why I never stayed at Cloth Diaper Nation. Not being able to edit causes an influx of posts in threads for clarifications, updates, etc.

Why the change???
