Re: Raise your hand if you won't be weaning
DS is 9 months, and we plan on doing CLW. He still nurses about every 2 hours, around the clock (we have a horrible sleeper here!).
I have a dilemma though. I had a rough pregnancy with him. I have a history of miscarriage, and then i had incompetent cervix problems and preterm labor, ending up on bedrest for 6 weeks. I really can't risk breastfeeding while pregnant with all the problems i've had. So, do i let him CLW and wait until he does to get pregnant? Or get pregnant and then wean him? (we aren't going to TTC until he is 2 anyway, unless something happens on accident!) I would LOVE for him to nurse past 2...but i also don't want my kids farther then 3 years apart...

Re: Raise your hand if you won't be weaning
DS will be a year old in a couple of weeks...I have no intention of weaning him any time soon. It's all up to him!

My new baby was a surprise baby (Our NFP Baby ) Nursing has been a struggle from day one, I'm not coming this far to give up at a year. Braxton can nurse as long as he wants.
