I couldn't believe it My little chubster has total chunky monkey thighs - they're actually too big for his small Fuzzi Bunz already, even though his big sister can still wear them at 26 months!! I'm convinced that they're both going to be the same size by next summer:- or at least weigh the same amount She's only 24lbs, so he doesn't have far to go! Does anyone else have a teething baby? I SWEAR he's teething and it's making me feel so awful for him Except it's weird - I can feel the side of a tooth poking through his gums and it seems like it's one of the canine or lateral incisors, how is that possible? I'm confused. But the poor kid hasn't napped for longer than 30 minutes at a time and a total of maybe 1.5-2 hours during the day all week(he usually takes 2 good 2-3 hr naps and another shorter nap), he's eating terribly and drooling like a mad man, so it definitely seems like teething Otherwise, he's normally such a happy, sweet guy! He "talks" to everyone that will listen and he can roll both ways now - he rolled from his back to his tummy yesterday for daddy! And he's army crawling/scooting himself around a bit - I cannot believe how big he's getting so quickly ![]() What are all of the other kiddos up to?? I am loving this thread and seeing all of the pics and hearing all of the updates on all of the cute things they're doing and learning!!

Re: April 2009 DDC Mamas and Cutie Pies Chat Thread *Pic Heavy*
hey mamas!
And welcome littlest_one... Love your little guy's name- Lincoln is on our list for next babe... Lillian- Keaton is totally teething, too. And I swear it's his canines! Bizarre. He's going to be our tiny little vampire I think... which makes sense cuz he sparkles outside! sigh. So love seeing how everyone's babes are growing!!! Keaton's 4 month appt is next week (with a new doc- I'm hoping to love her... our current doc has gotten ridiculous with pressuring us to vax and I'm so over it...) - so I will be back to report on height and weight... we have an antique scale- that I think is slightly off- that says he weighs 16. Which is rad considering the doc was worried about his weight when he was like a month old... no longer. Now we have this marshmallow baby: ![]() anyone remember the skinny baby with all the hair who slept really well at night, but never napped? yeah- he's gone. Now we have this adorable chunky monkey who is going bald and randomly catnaps through the day and is up every two hours at night. It's like they're doppelgangers or something... I miss the night sleeping something terrible, but this version of Keaton is hilarious and is much happier...so I think I'll keep him. Though he IS grounded for the hair losing. I told him when he was born that I LOVED his hair and he'd better keep it or I would ground him...so, no dates for a week! Recently: he's obsessed with his feet- and has succeed in getting them in his mouth as of today. smiles huge and giggles at stupid stuff we say...or fart noises. Those always get him. has been rolling both ways since two months- and is getting to be a real pro sort of army crawls if we lay him down and he doesn't want to sleep. "talks" and sings and shrieks and squeals all the time. is loving toys and anything else he can get in his mouth. is totally teething...and is not happy about it. here are a couple other random shots. ![]() ![]()

Jaime to a T! Yesterday he didn't nap ALL DAY except for a little 45 min catnap. I felt so bad, he'd try to smile, but then clearly his gums hurt, so his little smile just fell into a sour face then a frustrated cry. He just nursed constantly, but had to keep pulling off. I feel so bad for him! Oragel seemed to help though.

Re: April 2009 DDC Mamas and Cutie Pies Chat Thread *Pic Heavy*
oh my goodness all these babies are ADORABLE!!!
Now that I'm back from camping and water skiing for a week I can share some more info. Nige is about 3.5 months old, my mom's scale last night said he was just over 14 lbs - WOWSA, O wasn't that big until well after 4 months. He's got chunky monkey things and a little pot belly, I'm loving it - he is just so squishable. Thank goodness no teething or anything at the moment. The boy will NOT take a paci, so he has fallen in love with his fists and fingers, it's pretty cute and a dream not having to make sure we have the paci with us . He is rolling over - only left from his back to his belly, but its the only way he will "enjoy" tummy time. He loves to stand but not a fan of sitting. He is really a funny kid - when he nurses he'll stop, look up at me with a huge smile and then kind of smirk and dig is head back down looking for mama's milk - it's annoying at times when I just want him to eat and get back to life, but I mostly love it and it just makes my heart melt. He still has his crazy reddish hair - no matter what I do it still sticks straight up - so fluffy, it has certainly reseated from his head growing and he's got the little bald spot in the back. I'm really hoping he keeps it since O's hair was super duper patchy and nearly all gone by this point, and we can totally see new hair growing in underneath, so we'll see. N is sleeping great at night and during the day, but still loves to end up in bed with me every night - i don't really mind though . He is such a happy baby, except poor thing right now has some sort of yucky dry cough. We went camping/water skiing in eastern washington and the dry air gave him a runny nose and sore throat so we are dealing with a very sad boy with a yucky cough. Finally chose a doctor - a great family friend of ours - I just wanted to see how he interacted with my boys before we committed and their family was camping with us. So naturally we are doing delayed vaxing for N, since it will be his first appointment since like 2 weeks old (no vaxing yet). I'm stoked - O loves the doc and he is so wonderful! So here are some pics of my baby boy and my big boy N - 5 days old ![]() N and O - love this shot, O wasn't sure what to think of it, but it made him laugh ![]() My boys ![]() Enjoying camping and his fist ![]() ![]() Me, dh and our big boy - just got done with a run behind the boat (don't mind my pirate eye, it was uber sunny) ![]() N and his 2nd cousin (they are only 8 days apart) - the special thing is that this is my closest cousins 2nd kiddo as well, our first 2 are both boys ![]() Had to throw these last few in - this is my dad rocking the slalom skiing on his 60th birthday - he's awesome! ![]() ![]()

If you have a moose, I must have a BULL moose! Theo was just over 15 lbs and 25 inches at his 2-month appointment (7 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches at birth) and he has definitely grown since then. For my intro here, I'm Jennifer and my son Theo was due April 20 but was born May 3. My daughter, Anastasia is 2. I attempted a home VBAC but after 23 hours of hard labor transferred to the hospital and had my second c-section. I posted here and there on our due date forum but never got around to posting pics or my birth story. Here are some recent pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: April 2009 DDC Mamas and Cutie Pies Chat Thread *Pic Heavy*
I need to get a recent pic of Tristan to post!! I love seeing all the pics of the DIA babies!!!
We just had his 4 month appt, although he was nearly 3 weeks overdue... 17 lbs and 26.75 inches. He is 95-97 percentile for weight and about 90-95 for height. At this age, Alyssa was just 14.5 lbs... He did well with the shots, just a bit tender on the legs. He actually stopped crying after I picked him up off the table. It was so fun to see him belly laugh this afternoon! There is nothing cuter than those early belly laughs!!!
