I'm thinking we'll be Dora, Boots, Swiper and the Map. DH will be the map (he's 6'5, I think it'd be hilarious!), B will be Dora, I will be Swiper and carry Boots (cause I've "swiped" Boots from Dora)
This isn't us, but I love the Map. We have mattress padding downstairs

Nigel is going to be a giraffe, as long as he fits in it. Ds1 wore the same one, but he was 7 weeks younger than Nige at this time and a bit smaller. Either way - we will make it work. Not sure what ds1 will be this year, he keeps changing his mind from Max (Where the wild things are) to Peter Pan to Mike Wasowski (Monster's Inc.) - hopefully he decides soon or I'm going to have to step in as Mom and decide .

can I decide? can I decide?? He totally has to be Max. Cuz I wanna see it. That's rad. The movie comes out in Oct, doesn't it?!?! I forgot for like 5 minutes.

I have to find fabric to make it into the map. And Breanna needs to figure out who she wants to be. First she said "I'm Swiper, and she's baby Swiper!" Then she wanted to be Dora. I'll either be Dora and carry Boots or be Swiper and swipe Boots.

What?! Mike! I love Monsters Inc! I saw it no less than 8 times in the theater

Irie will be a giraffe and Cadence wants to be a cat (easy cheap costume so i dont mind). Nick and I have to dress up...it will be our 1yr anniversary I have NO clue what Nick is going to be and I am thinking of just wearing my senior prom dress with some wings and be a fairy (its a short dress and teal color its cute). Our cat had kittens today I will post some recent pics of us later but I have to return my new camera batteries bc they are not working right ...bummer

ah, cute overload from seeing babies in costumes!!

jaime will be winnie the pooh because someone gave me the costume and so it's free. it's a bit (really) big still, but he has a month, so who knows:

also, Jaime is on the younger end (april 24th) of the babies. I read a lot about delaying solids, and was -at the very least- planning to exclusively bf until 6 months. I don't think he needs any nutrient replacement yet, but my mom gave him a taste of her apple the other day and he LOVED it. He couldn't get enough. I imagine that's because it was cold and sweet, and he is teething. so all to say, should I feel guilty for letting him have some apple or some banana? not as a meal, but just to try some flavors? I keep going back and forth.

I wouldnt feel guilty Irie has tastes of stuff sometimes but I think thats ok she dont seem interested in taking it as a meal or anything at this point

M had her first banana at just a few days over 5 months. She's really interested in trying new things but we only give her some baby food 1 time a day every few days.

Speaking of M...she said Momma She was crying and Momma came out about 10 times

Costumes?

DH wants David to be a pilgrim/colonial man since he has long enough hair in the back to tie into a ponytail. I just need to find a hat and a black vest. I already have a white long sleeved shirt and black pants and long socks....I also need black shoes I don't want to do pilgrim to tell you the truth I want David to be a hick - I will accentuate his rat tail/mullet, put a t shirt and jeans on and a baseball cap! (Josh says that is too easy and I should try harder....)

Lizzie's costume is easy! I am going to make her a tu-tu and she already has fairy wings. She will be tinkerbell! (Or a princess....whatever she imagines herself to be.)
