I can't believe our little ones are already 4 months old! Maddie is 13lb7oz (50%) and 22.75" (3% - my little shorty). She's reaching for objects, sleeping about 6 hrs straight at night now, and talks TONS.

Here are some new things irie is doing

she loves her learning lily (leapfrog toy) she can hold it and she pushes it up against her till it starts singing
Rolling over both ways
she can scootch across the floor (only bc she hates tummy time lol)
laughing and "talking" all the time
she is very very close to sitting up she does it for a little while but still needs to work on it lol
shes sucking her thumb now lol

she reminds me so much of cadence she is always really happy and a great sleeper and shes built exactly like cadence

I hope that means I can join in! I'm so proud of my little man, I love to share!! (I'm sure you all completely understand!)

My little angel, Lincoln Geoffrey, was born April 5th. He's our first baby. We've been CDing him since he was three weeks old. We use GADs, Applecheeks, and Gdiapers.

He is a strong little guy. He's been holding his head himself for months now, and has loved to stand up (with support of course) since he was very small. He'd much prefer to stand than to sit. He's rolling from belly to back, and bringing anything he can to his mouth (misses a lot though, lol). He loves to "dance" with mommy and daddy, and is starting to laugh when we give him "raspberries" on his belly and neck. He much prefers soft toys to hard ones, and won't fall asleep lying on his back... only his side. He LOVES to be read too... as soon as we start reading a book, he'll begin jabbering away at the top of his lungs!! It's hilarious!

I wanted to share some pictures of our recently aquired wool!

Nicki sent us these longies after our dog ate our fav pair of wool! It was so nice of her! (They are a bit big atm, so Sofiya will need to grow some more!)


My MIL knitted this little outfit for us!


Then she made this skirty!


Then she made her this outfit using yarn we hand dyed with Kool-aid!


(and just for fun, here sleeping in the entertainer, lol)


I also sent this yarn to my friend, Jody of Jody's designs, which I hand dyed in the crock pot using food coloring. It turned out amazing!


Sofiya is still in infant prefolds, xsmall fitteds, and xsmall covers, although at 12lbs now, we are considering it is time to move up to smalls. (Xsmalls still fit though, so ya know.) She is wearing 0-3 clothes, but could start transistioning to 3-6.

She is smiling, laughing, rolling, scooting, playing with toys, sitting (in the bumbo, not quite by herself yet) and prefers to stand.

She sleeps pretty well at night and we seem to have corrected most of her premature issues she was experiencing, through time and chiropractic care. Her reflux went away, but has since returned, but nearly as bad as before.

I have been enjoying all the updates, mamas! Keep them coming!

OK, I broke down & went to our belated check up appointment. Until Friday Abigail had not had any vaccines. Her last check up was at 1 month. I have been so at odds with doing the vaccines. I finally made my decision and decided to vaccinate her but to do delated vaccines. She had 4 vaccines Friday & her poor little thighes are all black & blue . Anyways, I knew she was a moose but my jaw dropped when I saw her weight on the scale. She is 3 months (16 weeks), she will be 4 months on the 17th. Her birth weight was 7 lbs 9 oz, 18 1/2 in length. SHE NOW WEIGHES 14 LBS. 12 OZ., 24 1/2" LONG! The doctor said she is at the top of the charts for her size!
