Re: You know you have a tiny child when...

Awww, we need pics! Kearnan is my tiny guy. Up till this year he was easily wearing 4t shorts, he is almost 8. I pass him off at the renn faire, They have started asking about Tharen who is only 3 (free through age 5) but they still over look Kearnan. He and Tharen can share shorts. However Tharen has short legs, Kearnan legs are long even though he is really small so he needs bigger pants. I am afraid he has no chance at being particularly tall. The pedi endo said he will probably be about 5ft 9inches, or around there anyway. That is if he ever starts growing. This year he was in K (long story there) and all of the 5yr old were bigger than him. He doesn't seem to mind it though, even though soon I think his baby brother will be handing down clothes to him instead of vice versa.

When he is wearing 6-9 month shorts at almost 27 months!

When people are amazed at how well he speaks and how much he knows, considering he is the size of your average 15 to 18 month old!
My DS does this too.

My youngest is like that. It has made sharing clothes between the two really difficult. Until now, now they both wear the same size. They are 4.5yrs apart. Tharen is just really big, and Kearnan is really tiny.

Re: You know you have a tiny child when...

hehe, my eight month old still wears NB size shorts(ok, they are NB pants, but they look like shorts lol), but he is really tall so he just can't wear pants at all unless I make them because they are either too short or long enough but so big they don't stay up, even with a cloth bum! I have to make him pants that are either NB or 0-3 mos width, but 9-12 mos for length.

My girls are like this. Al will be 12 next month and is 60 pounds. Ki is 6 and weighs 50 pounds. They share shirts, but not shorts/pants because for one, Ali is taller than Ki and two, Ali is a slim and Ki is not.
