Would you buy these for your daughter?

I was watching the daily show with John Stewart and I thought he was just joking but no....he was serious. I personally don't like the message, I have a boy now but if I ever have a girl I would like to dress her up as a baby girl not a sexy mini version of me. Although i am guilty of "mommy and me" days with my son when we wear matching baggy sweatpants and long white tees.

if you put a red polka dot dress and some ears..she will look like minnie mouse

Re: Would you buy these for your daughter?

I have boys but they are sort of cute I mean there is no way she could walk in them and I think they would put her off balance if she was able to pull her self up so hopefully people aren't putting them on overly mobile babies. I see them as sort of a joke.....but a funny one

I think the cowboy ones are super cute!

I think they are ridiculous. The only person I ever knew who actually put those on her dd was my dh's cousin. I think it is just another way to make little girls grow up to fast. Yea, they look funny but seem a little sick at the same time. And NO I would have never put them on my baby girl.

As part of, say, a halloween costume? Maybe. Otherwise no.

Aren't they soft and squishy? They're not meant to be walked in are they? I think real heels would be disturbing, but I think these are meant as a joke. I don't think the creator meant it as anything other than a way to get your friends to laugh out loud when they see your baby, which is what I would do. I would not waste money on them for my own child, but I would totally buy them as a joke baby shower gift to accompany my real gift because I do think they are, well, heelarious.

I saw a show where they were talking to the lady that created them. Yes they are completely squishy and were basically created as almost a gag.

Sure they are kinda cute in a wacky way. I think they would be cute to wear to a party or wedding where people were dressed up.

This topic comes up every once and a while.

They are meant to be a gag gift.
