For those who have breastfed while pregnant

My daughter is 18 months and i am almost 3 months pregnant, and still breastfeeding her. I have no problem with continuing to breastfeed her for as long as possible. She has a dairy allergy so she doesn't drink any milk, or have any dairy products in her diet. i am just worried that when my milk starts going back to colostrum (like people say aroudn 5 months or so) that she will no longer be getting enough, and I will have to supplement her with either soy (not a fan) or formula (she can tolerate goodstart step2 for 9-24 months as it is whey-based). If you breastfed while pregnant was your child drinking milk as well at the same time?

I have not BF while pregnant..well because i only have one DD
but she has sensitivities to milk as well..so my naturopathic dr recommended Almond milk. DD loves it, comes with good fats and is readily available at your local grocery or health food store. HTH

DD was 15mos when she weaned and I was 5mos pregnant. She was drinking milk at the time as well. My nipples were so tender I had to stop, it was like first time bf'ing all over again

My DD2 weaned at 15.5 mos and I was 5.5 mos pg. She just weaned herself but there were no supply problems or anything. She was drinking milk also starting at a year. Definitely post in the BFing forum. I know there are plenty of mamas who have BF'd through and tandemed after.
