Prepping chinese prefolds

what do i need to do to prep my chinese prefolds, i just got mine in the mail today, and would like to get started!

Wash them in the hottest water you have available,and I add a little dawn to help get the oils out. Dry them on hot. Repeat at least 3 times,5-7 is better.

i heard you can boil them instead- my washer doesnt get really hot, and im on well water, so i try to limit the water use, hard to do with cloth diapers, but if boiling is an alternative i would much rather do that, oh and they are bleached prefolds.
