My dd was 13lbs 3oz at her 4 month well baby visit.
She is extremly chubby, with rolls all over though, but she is just very short.
She is also a smallish eater, usualy only eating 4.5oz every 3.5-4 hours. in the middle of the night I can get her to drink 6oz if she had a long stretch between bottles.
Her Ped seems to be happy with her weight gain since it is consistant (about 1lbs a month)
If you think she is healthy and eating fine there really isn't much you can do about having a small baby.

She looks totally healthy and happy!

My ds weighed 16 lbs at 4 months but he is a super chunk!

She looks great! Thats why there are percentils- we can't all be at 50%. Mine are 10# 10oz and 10# 11oz.

i think that sounds about right... is it BM in her bottles or formula??? IIRC the weight gain curve takes a dive for BM babies at about 4 months... (like I said IIRC - can't find my link for that

) In any event - is she happy and hitting milestones?? I wouldn't be concerned because IYAM - she looks super happy in that pic and is a super cutie patootie!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA would to wouldn't

My ds was 17lbs at 4 months and is 20lbs now at 6 months. He is just a big boy though. Dd was big as well, but very petite now. All babies are different and as long as she is healthy, I wouldn't worry.

I think she is adorable.
dd weighed 22 pounds at 4 months, but she was ridiculously, off-the-charts huge.

My daughter at her 4 month checkup she weighed 18.3lbs and was 25" long. She weighed 6lbs 14oz at birth and was 20" long.

My DD was 12 lbs at 4 months.

She's a cute, petite little girl. I wouldn't worry about the weight thing. If she's meeting all of her developmental milestones and she's happy, no worries. Those stupid charts get my undies in a bunch every time. Think if they had them for adults. Who'd really want to be in th 95th or even 50th?

Mine was 17 lbs and 26" at 4 months, but he's a soild little boy. All kids are different.

Mine's 15 pounds, she was 9 at birth. My ODD was always thin, and people made me crazy with their comments. I think she was 9 pounds at 4 months, but now she's a 30 pound 2 year old.
