I am waiting on the order from another midwife...my mw is a lay midwife and my secondary care is a cnm. She is at a birth and said she will get with me in the next few days. Meanwhile, I am pacing the floor

My twins were a dream, very easygoing, just what I needed. Nursing was hard and I gave up, first time mom and I had had a breast reduction previously. They were such fun, I would love to be blessed again, but I would definitely be staying home for the birth.

Congrats either way!

One of my BF's just had her gender ultra sound on monday (she has 3 boys and was hoping for a girl) , and they told her,

"well, you are having another boy...AND a girl"

She was so surprised! She'll have 5 under 4!

I've heard so many say their twins were very easy and such a blessing. I really don't know why I'm so scared, since I haven't heard/read any horror stories It's just kind of daunting when it's the "8th" baby

Wow that's so exciting!!!!I have always wanted twins but so far they have always been one at a time.I was really think #8 might have been twins ,but when I had my dating ultra sound the doctor only saw 1,I told her to look again,but she said it was a single occupancy room.

congrats I'm a mom of twins I did bf I did have to pump in between my bfing to keep my supply built up but you can do it. your mw may also give you a shot to boost your supply. its a lot of work but if your committed it can work also I think the first 3-5 months were really hard trying to feed 2 at once and then they would use the bathroom at the same time, just keep them on the same schedule it makes it a lot easier. once they start getting mobile its so much easier and they have a friend the same age to play with. which keeps them busy.

My 5th and 6th are twins and it wasn't as difficult as people will have you believe. You're a pro, if it's twins you'll do great.
