Re: Help please

Our ds ended up going straight to cups from the boob (still on the boob, but he drinks MOSTLY out of cups lol!). He has sippys which we use if we're eating while watching a movie (ie: not in the kitchen) or going in the car. Otherwise he gets a regular cup. He needed some practice sessions, and his sister helped a lot w/that. But mostly he just needed to know the boob wasn't going anywhere. He spent about a week drinking from a cup in my lap holding onto my right boob Slow and easy, very few kids are nursing in Kindergarden, and the ones who do? They drink out of juice boxes, just like the others!

Re: Help please

3 out of 4 of my kids have refused a bottle but after time they learned how to drink out of a sippy cup. Since he knows he can get the real thing from you he probably just doesn't care much. Don't worry, it's just one of those things kids learn as they get older.
