Re: Tricycle For a Small Toddler?

I have the US version of this bike for my son -- it is a 10" balance/run bike. Micah is pint sized, and it was the smallest bicycle I could find for him. He got it for his 2nd birthday and loves it!

Here are some videos at Strider's website showing some little ones on their balance bikes.

both of our boys started out on kettlers. Our oldest outgrew his last year, but we still bought a second for DS2. We also used their accessories, seat belts, pedal covers, baskets & bells

Re: Tricycle For a Small Toddler?

we did this instead of a trike: http://www.stridersports.com

They have LOW seats, and no pedals. My (just)3YO will coast for 100yards or more without touching.

Re: Tricycle For a Small Toddler?

My 18 month old son has the Radio-Flyer Scoot-About. He absolutely loves it! It was recommended to me by another toddler mom. It even comes w/ a little bell! It's a quad-cycle. Very stable. He zooms on that thing!

And I love the Giro infant helmets on Amazon. They tighten by a knob on the back. Super easy to adjust.
