Re: Afraid to wash booroi cover

I have a green and white (which obviously doesn't count!). I wash covers with clothes on either cold or warm. My green hasn't bled that I've noticed, but I probably washed it with darks. It never bled onto a pf either though, fwiw.

You can set dye with vinegar. You can google it. I have never done it myself but have heard people talk about it and I think it works on all types of dye/fabrics.

Re: Afraid to wash booroi cover

My green didn't bleed at all. My purple bled a bit onto a wet prefold while my son was wearing it, but that came right out in the wash. They haven't coloured anything in my diaper laundry.

I have the red ones and I haven't had any bleeding. If you are scared, just wash it with a white washcloth or something just to see.

Re: Afraid to wash booroi cover

I wash all my new dark colored dipes with a dark load of clothes and a Shout dye catcher before I use them. Just in case!

Re: Afraid to wash booroi cover

I washed my Booroi covers in with my diapers and had no bleeding at all. One of my red ones did bleed a bit onto the prefold it was covering but it washed out no problem.
