Re: As trim as a sposie?

Softbums are VERY trim! Bottombumpers are comparable to Dream Eze, but we prefer them because they don't leave red marks on chunky thighs.

Cuddlebugcloth AI2's are my favorite (which is why that's madi's whole stash) or swaddlebees.

I second the flat/cover combo. Except we use thirsties duos/booroi's and the fit is AWESOME!

For daddy diapers we use BG organic aios and they are also super trim and very absorbent.

Re: As trim as a sposie?

I think a BSRB with a Thirsties cover is very trim. Thirsties AIOs are also very trim, but they aren't super absorbent.

Re: As trim as a sposie?

SoftBums are really trim!
I kave a pic of one on my 6 week old here:
http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...1&postcount=54

His butt is smaller in these than in any other dipe we have (we have BGOS and FB's). I find Softbums more trim fitting than swaddlebees.

Re: As trim as a sposie?

I was going to suggest gdiapers with patooshie pants or the nappy shoppe cloth inserts. I don't think you can get much trimmer than that!

Add OBB Marathons to that list!
I have one with bamboo insert, side snapping one and it's really trim.

In general, I've found that side snapping diapers are tirmmer than even velcro ones...

I love cloth diapering all the way down to doing laundry every other day but the only thing I don't love about it, is the bulkiness. We've had to go from clothing size 6mos to 12mos just to fit the diaper underneath and it looks ridiculous sometimes. I crave using sposies again just for the trimness.

I've tried a lot of different CD's so maybe there is a trimmer one that I haven't tried that you could suggest??? Is there anything out there even close to as trim as a sposie??

Here's what I have (i have like one of everything! ):
Pockets
Blueberry OS (pretty good - I do like this dipe)
BG OS (also one of my faves)
FB's
GAD
Smartipants (i change my mind almost every day about whether i like this dipe or not)
Bumwear - (so/so)
Happy Heiny OS -

AIOs
Bumkins
Dream Eze
Thirsties

Fitteds
Thirsties fab fitted
BSRB
BG organic bamboo

And my favorite for trimness so far are Gdiapers with Patooshie pants inserts

What else could I try that are both very trim and absorbant that I haven't tried already?

Re: As trim as a sposie?

My gmd red organic prefolds (not as quilty as the non-organic) with a dappi cover is SUPER trim for ds these days. These days a trifolded prefold in a iv med works nicely under clothes (we also use a large sometimes). Really, any prefold that is a little small or not super quilty will be trim... I agree with flats/dappis too. Honestly, I love my bsww covers, being a tad thicker than a thirsties say helps with trimness imo (it fits very nicely over a prefolds). Also, my bg organic aios are trim.

I've heard GADs are trim (looks like you liked them).

I was a tester for this mama's new AI2s and they're amazing! Narrow through the crotch and very trim! They fit under clothes like a sposie and are very absorbant and hold in the BF poo as well. I'm in love with them!

These are really cute!! I may have to try one!
