Re: As trim as a sposie?

I've heard that elbees are almost trimmer than a sposie, haha. I even read about one mama selling them because the trimness was almost too "obscene" for her. I haven't tried one, though.

Re: As trim as a sposie?

Hands down Bumgenius Organic AIO's are the trimmest diaper I have tried or seen. Next up is Softbums. Hope this helps you.

Re: As trim as a sposie?

i will be the voice of dissent and say that NOTHING in 5 years of cloth diapers has been like a disposable for trimness. I'm sorry. Cloth diapers have bulk, that's just the way the world works. They don't contain scary chemicals to make them oddly absorbent for size so they have to contain more layers of fabric. So that in turn makes more bulk. There are diapers that are trimmer than others obviously but you sacrifice in absorbency and change way more often. The only diapers we wear under jeans are fuzzi bunz with a microfiber towel trifolded. That's literally the only thing that has worked through both girls under clothing. And we still have to size up and buy jeans that are cut large like cargo pants. Could be that I make chubby kids who have big butts but I doubt it.

I love cloth diapering all the way down to doing laundry every other day but the only thing I don't love about it, is the bulkiness. We've had to go from clothing size 6mos to 12mos just to fit the diaper underneath and it looks ridiculous sometimes. I crave using sposies again just for the trimness.

I've tried a lot of different CD's so maybe there is a trimmer one that I haven't tried that you could suggest??? Is there anything out there even close to as trim as a sposie??

Here's what I have (i have like one of everything! ):
Pockets
Blueberry OS (pretty good - I do like this dipe)
BG OS (also one of my faves)
FB's
GAD
Smartipants (i change my mind almost every day about whether i like this dipe or not)
Bumwear - (so/so)
Happy Heiny OS -

AIOs
Bumkins
Dream Eze
Thirsties

Fitteds
Thirsties fab fitted
BSRB
BG organic bamboo

And my favorite for trimness so far are Gdiapers with Patooshie pants inserts

What else could I try that are both very trim and absorbant that I haven't tried already?
I think Mia's trimmest diaper is prob a prefold with an interlock shortie. What's funny is, the few times we've had to put Mia in a sposie, she hated it. It was funny, she kept falling off of things. I think she's used to having that big fluff under her butt.
