Re: ikea fabric

one of my very good friends lives by Ikea fabrics. I haven't ever been to an ikea store so I have to buy mine online via fsot type threads, or etsy, etc. I think the closest one to me is two states away

Re: ikea fabric

Our Ikea only has thick drapery-type fabric, the one time I looked anyhow. I have an Ikea-phobia so I don't go there very often.

Re: ikea fabric

LOVE the prints! Apparently my Ikea does have fabric, I've just never seen it. Going to have to hunt that down. Everything looks like it is cotton. Does anyone know if they carry a stretchier cotton knit?

I have never seen any knits at Ikea . Its all heavy decorator weight or very thin woven cotton. They have great pattern and terrific colors but its mainly to decorate your home with.

lol you get the picture
I can not believe this thread was started, lol. I'm seriously AS WE SPEAK, sewing up curtains using a Fredrika print (the one on the top of the stack in the second link); like, I took a break to send the customer an email, and decided to check my messages on DS.
A customer gave me the fabric to turn into curtains, and I'm talking to my MIL tonight saying "I had no idea IKEA had fabric!"
And yes, it's a heavy fabric.
