Fresh homemade bread

My husband got me the book: "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day" for my birthday.

This book is fantastic. It really only takes a few minutes to do. You make enough bread dough to last several days-week, keep it in the fridge, pull out what you want about 1 hour ahead of baking, then bake for 25 minutes. The making up of the dough DOES NOT involve kneading. No kneading is necessary at all. Just dump the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and pop in the fridge.

I highly recommend it. My family and I love the bread.

Re: Fresh homemade bread

If you go to Mother Earth News magazine online website....you can find the article and the recipe for the master bread. It is FANTASTIC as posted here! I can't say enough about the bread. Yum...mouth watering just thinking about it. I got the book at the library for the other recipes and made copies but it is at the top of my Christmas wish list!

Re: Fresh homemade bread

I got so excited about this idea! I had them pull the book for me at my B&N and am going to go get it this afternoon. By tomorrow I should be eating my own home made bread WOOOOHOOO! I have always been intimidated about making bread, I think this is going to be just my speed.
