Re: Teeth Grinding!
I started doing it as soon as I got teeth, and I still do it.
Its really an unconsious thing that I can't help. When I realize I am doing it and I am awake, I can make myself stop... at night, that's different. A mouth guard at night, every single night for the past several years, is the only thing that has saved my teeth.

Re: Teeth Grinding!
YES, our 14 month old does it and started when he was about 10 months old. Back then, I think he discovered it was a new thing he could do and did it all the time. It bothers dh more than me. Now he just does it occasionally. I found that asking him NOT to do it and cringing (which dh does) just makes him do it more (wow, look what I can make mommy and daddy do LOL). Its hard to ignore, but now I try to get his mind off of it by distracting him or offering him some water. I am so hoping he will totally grow out of it.
