Confession and a question for fitted users.

Ok, confession first. I used a spoosie today for the first time in 2 months....... It felt better than I thought it would. No leaks and very trim with my son's jeans. We had to be out for more than 2 hours and I just didn't want to risk. I feel so guilty.....he's back in cloth now asleep...

Ok, fitted users.

What is your favorite fitted?
Do you think that your baby gets more rashes when using a fitted?
Does is stand up to a fast wetter? Our son is 13 months old.

Thank you!

Re: Confession and a question for fitted users.

I have a variety of fitteds. I mainly use swaddlbees and mutts at home. Swaddlebees are very trim, but not as absorbant as other fitteds I have. I use my cricketts and dream eze for when I am out and about. They are super absorbant, not too bulky and I can easily run errands for 2 hours without needing to change his diaper. I put a little baby powder on ds when I change his diaper and we rarely have rashes.

My pocket fitteds work the best for my heavy wetter, so I've parted w/all other name fitteds except 3 (one LD and 2 Little Fishy) which I'm currently keeping 'cause they're just so darn cute.

Re: Confession and a question for fitted users.

I have a heavy wetter. Fitteds would only last about 45 mintues on her and she would get a terrible rash from sitting in a wet diaper. I switched to pockets and have never looked back. They are great for my heavy wetter!

I really like Cricketts www.crickettsdiapers.com
and of course PWs!! But those are hard to get your hands on and I only have 3, so I use them at night only bcs they can hold a lot.
I want to try a BBL, but can't seem to stalk those properly either

Re: Confession and a question for fitted users.

I have Little Beetle fitteds which I love. I have the hemp Lites and Originals. The Lites are great for day. The Originals are great for naps, outings and nights. My dd's bum has been so much healthier with the cloth diapers than sposies. She was so red with the sposies, that we finally switched to cloth at 10 months. She's now 1 yr old and much happier.

The Hemp fitteds I have are very absorbant. I also have a couple Mutts that I like, but my favorite so far has to be the PW. I only have one, but it really stands up to my heavy wetter. She holds her pee for hours, even overnight and then lets it all loose. The PW still holds it in and not too wet on the outer either.

We love our Mutts, PeeWells, and Benjamuffins. I have several other brands, but those hold up the best for us.

Re: Confession and a question for fitted users.

I have a firefly fitted & JUST got a very baby fitted that I LOVE. I think these 2 last about 2-3hrs with no rash. I do have a few fitted that dont last more than an hour without a doubler. If I am heading out for awhile I put on a pocket dipe

Re: Confession and a question for fitted users.

we really like the prefitted prefolds the most! We gave up on fitteds until we found these. For a trip out we do put in a doubler and usually a fleece liner with a nylon pull on dappi over it. It is reasonbly trim (fits in reg. clothes w/out a hug rump) and lasts us around 3 hours (depending on whether he is nursing or how much he is sleeping) or even a little more if its between meals LOL
