How do I get it out of her hair?

So....

While I was scrubbing the floors this morning, I thought dh was watching the 17 month old, but once again...he wasn't paying an attention.

I finished and found the baby...with Lypsol in her hair....I've bathed her and washed her hair and it's still in there.

How do I get it out???





Don't mind the dirty face, she just ate, and it was before the bath....the hair's no better after the bath.

It's chap stick...maybe I spelled it wrong..maybe it's Lypsyl? Like Blistex.

Oh, okay, never heard of it . Anyhow, maybe try baby oil, or any kind of like olive oil or something?

Baking soda is a good scrub/stripper for hair. It took creamy Desitin out of my son's hair a long time ago. Make a paste and apply, scrub, rinse, repeat as necessary. Make sure to rinse well. Use vinegar to neutralize the ph by wetting a cloth with it and wiping down her hair, then rinsing carefully.

warning it is very drying to the hair, so don't attempt to comb the hair till the natural oils have come back (24+ hrs).

Dawn dish detergent removes vaseline from hair. It probably would work on Lypsol too. I would definitely use vinegar rinse to restore PH. And also wait awhile to comb as Dawn is a "stripper" too.
