convert to a nursing dress?

Has anybody tried to convert a regular dress (with 2 layers) to a nursing dress? I was going through my closet thinking of how I miss wearing dresses and nursing dresses are so expensive! I picked out 3 that I think could be converted to nursing dresses, but I'm scared to try. Has anyone tried it? Or know a WAHM who can do it?

Re: convert to a nursing dress?

My grandma installed a zipper in the side of a dress I was wearing in my sister's wedding! worked great.
