I don't think my Joanns has it in white, but my Hancocks carries butter suede in a great variety of colors (including white and cream). Right now they have it for 30% off and I actually think the butter suede is a little softer than the alova and works just as well.

he butter suede though, ime, is not stay dry, i have bought it before and it held wetness against skin?

I just got a bunch of alova at Joann's this week! I got 1 yard of a pretty teal, then 3 yds coffee bean brown, and 2 yds tan. (The tan is for a car seat cover though). I just made my first suedecloth dipe today, and so far I love it! (It's on DS's butt right now, lol)

The moleskin will not work, but the Alova is good. I Hancock's buttersuede. I prefer it over the Alova, but I use both. Make sure to check the actual name on the end of the bolt, as my Joann's had them mixed up today and I accidentally grabbed the wrong thing of one color. They were great about it, though.
