How would make filling for stuffed shells?

I have ricotta cheese. I've tried making my own before, but the cheese had no flavor even after adding italian seasonings, garlic, salt & pepper. All the recipes online show adding all this sausage and meat. I just want cheese. Any ideas?

I would do 1 egg, 1 cup of mozz cheese, ricotta cheese, some minced garlic and other Italian seasonings, also fresh basil is nice, too. Basil will really add some nice flavor.

I use that recipe when I make them. We usually eat 1/2 and freeze the rest for another dinner or lunch.

I do something similar, depending what I have on hand (but the Ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, and the egg for sure). If I happen to have parmesan, I'll add that too.

I add an egg, salt. pepper, garlic, basil, parsley, and oregano to mine and it comes out great. If you use garlic salt do not use extra salt. You can also sautee some onion and use that too. Hope you have a yummy meal.
