I want my good sleeper back!!! help please lol

ok... before christmas.. we went to MI and since then it has been hell at bedtime in my house.. my now 6.5 month old son.. I would lay him in his crib at about 10 he would just smile... lay in his crib looking around.. until he fell asleep and then wake up to nurse at about 5 30 -6 am.. now it's a whole nother story.....

in fact.. he is up now.. it is 12 45.

we dont like the CIO method.. but when I get him to go to sleep at about 10.. he is up again at about 12:30 sometimes he wants to play.. sometimes he wants to eat.. but will ultimately go back to sleep until about 5 or so..



is there a gorwth spurt at this age 6-7m? that would cause this sleep disturbance..

yeah Mikey goes in cycles liek that...I never get to comfortable in his good sleeping because just when I do we are back to waking up every coupl eof hours or so...I think babies are still trying to grow, adjust etc that everything is always changing to accomadate that but thats jsut my opinion

its normal and must be a growthspurt going on, goodl;uck and i hope things go back to goodnights again

No advice, 'cause mine quit his "good" sleeping cycle around 4 months! But I've heard it's very normal, especially around 6 mos when babies are really becoming aware of the world around them. They think a little nap is enough & they want to explore or play more. Good luck!
