Anyone have a child that still does not have solid poop?

My ds is 16 months, nurses about 3x in a 24hr period, eats solids, but has yet to have a solid poop. He still has blow-outs every single day. Is this normal?? I have nothing to base him against since my first ds was not nursed and my second ds has an intestinal disease and couldnt stool anyway!

Thanks!

My 18 month old still does. She still nurses a lot though.

I think it's normal!

For some children it is, others not. My ds still rarely has formed stool. He has a lot of food sensitivities, though, and we think IBS. So if he has anything with significant fiber, he has a blowout. He is 28 months for reference! The thing to be more concerned about is the frequency of the stools. If there are more than 5 a day at that age, that might be something to talk to your pedi about!

I believe it's normal for him...

Growing up, my sister and I had the same diet, but our stools were very different, both in consistency and frequency....

different strokes, different folks
