Don't be afraid of medications to help an acute situation
I hope he feels better soon! My ds had to be hospitalized with RSV when he was 4 months old, and I worried about taking him to the ped and being a worrywart, but I learned that it is better to be safe than sorry.

Get the steroids! Croup is brutal on them. And you have no idea if your kid may have asthma, which could make it much much worse. My son had/has Croup all the time, he just went on daily steroid because that's way better for them than the constant stain on their lungs. We also do the nebulizer treatments.
And these steroids are NOT the same as the dangerous ones that athletes get caught with. Something completely different.

Well we got the "roids" and he is doing MUCH better! He also had an ear infec...we are a little shocked with that being he showed no signs..but I guess they said some babies dont show signs. Anyways so they gave him meds for that too..grr..oh well I know it will hlep him! Thanks for all of your help!
