What a morning! My Medela broke!

Right as I got to work to do my first pump of the day- my pump broke! It's hard to explain, but one of the little plastic pieces that the tubes attach to on the pump snapped OFF!

So then I have to go tell my boss that my pump broke and I need to leave work to go buy another one. Then I drive all over town, looking for a Medela PIS Advanced- no luck! No one has them in stock! So I ended up getting a PIS original, which is what I had before but I figured if I was going to get a new pump, I was going to get the newest technology, too.

What a morning!

What a PIA! I would freak!
The other day part of mine broke (the little white thing that attaches to the end of the horn, but is actually in the bottle while you are pumping. The milk drips out of it.) Luckily, I had another set of horns, so I could steal one from that. Plus, I haven't gone back to work yet.

I don't know if you bought your's new or not but I would contact Medela and tell them. I've heard they're great about replacing broken parts.

same thing happened to me about 6 years ago and they replaced my whole pump for free. I actually bought a new one then medela refunded the store and the store refunded me.... they were wonderful!

yeah, that! medela has great customer service!
