Diaper Swappers

Has anyone had this? It's not excruciating or anything. It is more of a dull ache and happened after I got really upset with DH. Lying down it's not so bad. When I get up and walk it hurts way more. What to do?

I'm 15 weeks...

Hmmm...just some thoughts, but not really sure what it could be....

- organs moving up to make room for your growing uterus
- diaphragm kind of "stuck" (though I'm not sure if that really happens

, just throwing out ideas here)
- gall bladder inflammation (gall bladder issues become more common during/after pregnancy)
- gas/constipation (yes, it seems a little up high, but remember, those organs do move upwards - especially if this is not your first pregnancy)
- could just be a strained muscle if you're belly's starting to stretch

I know I'm not much help, but maybe one of those ideas will lead you to put a finger on it.

It did ease up. I'm only 15 weeks so any issue I have after hours is addressed by the ER. The ER in Bedford is really terrible. You know it's bad when the OB Ward tells me if I have problems I might as well skip the ER because they won't be addressed there. Yikes. Laying down helped a lot. I like being lazy anyway

Oh I had that pain! It started for me at 20 weeks. It went from a dull pain to a very sharp pain especially when I was driving.

My midwives suggested a chiropractor, who I saw three times a week from 20 weeks on. I didn't notice much of a difference.

What I can tell you that it was not an indicator of anything being wrong. And once I delivered the pain went away.

Sounds like what I had when I was pregnant with DD.. ended up being my gall bladder.

I had that with my last pregnancy & it was also my gall bladder. I ended up needing to have it removed but not during the pregnancy.

But it can also be a pulled muscle & pain from everything shifting around. Just make sure you keep an eye on it & check in with your OB. Feel better.
