I think I was a bit too detailed with my birth plan with ds... so I am going to keep it short and sweet this time, its easier for the docs and nurses to read that way.
petunia that looks great! Oh and I guess that knowing the hospitals procedures helps eliminate somethings off the list. The hospital I had my son in there was no nursery, only a NICU, so he was in my room the whole time, so check out the procedures in your hospital to make sure you have everything covered.

If you feel strongly about something I would encourage writing it down but keep in mind that births are unpredictable. I know that my sister's SIL had her heart set on a home birth with just a midwife but complications occured and she had to go to the hospital. I didn't have straight forward births with either of my two but I know a lot of people who had very easy deliveries so you never know.
