RLR vs. Washing soda vs. Sun oxy cleaner for stripping?

If it's not repelling, then it's stink! I have lots of questions:

RLR worked great for stripping my BG's, which were repelling.
It's only been 3 weeks and I just had to strip for stink (used bleach per manufacturers recommendations), and now the water is beading up again.

The main ingredient in RLR is washing soda (sodium carbonate), which is available by itself, or as a main ingredient in Sun oxygen cleaner.

Does anyone know if it works the same? Or does anyone use washing soda or Sun oxycleaner on a regular basis to prevent buildup?

Does anyone know if Sun oxy cleaner would be too harsh to use in every load of BG's?

I'd really like to nail down a wash routine that does not involve entire days of stripping & rinsing.

I'm open to suggestions.

I have a FL btw.

TIA

I just put a pack of RLR in my washer at the beginning of my wash routine. I normally do a cold rinse (with RLR) followed by a hot wash (with detergent) and 2 cold rinses.

I'm never used SUN, but it sounds interesting!

Do you use RLR in EVERY washload?
