Poop problem?

Sawyer, 8mo., is going on day 3 w/o pooping (except a little soft stool on his butt at a couple diaper changes). He's starting to eat more solids so I know less bm is normal but he usually poops at least 1-2x a day. He even ate a some pears yesterday but still nothing... I don't remember how long w/o bm is okay.

Re: Poop problem?

My kids started stretching out the days between BM at that age. Sounds fine to me as long as he's not fussy. My 11 week old sometimes even has 3 days between BM.

Is he on formula or bm? Is he cranky or acting normal? I wouldn't worry unless he's uncomfortable. He'll probably have a big blowout soon. A friend gave her infant diluted prune juice but that can have problems, too.
