I was thinking, Isn't there a huge city park close to the downtown aquarioum? I would suggest the aquarium but it is kind of pricey.

I don't have a clue since I'm new to the area, lol. Maybe the zoo? That's on my list of places I want to go, lol.

Were NW of Houston in Cypress. Id have to wait until DH is in town which is unknown right now. I'm lucky if I even get a chance to shower when hes out of town, and you all don't want that We have two boys, one is 2 and the other is 5. This weather would be perfect for the zoo (if it stays/comes back)! I wonder when 'boo in the zoo' is?

dd is 16 months and we're in La Porte

The Zoo sounds good to me. There's also free things for children at Miller Outdoor theater if that appeals to anyone. I think Alice in Wonderland is coming up in a week or two.

Just found this group! I'm in NW Houston around Cypress.

Did a meet up already happen, or are ya'll still planning one for the beginning of the year?
I have a VERY alert and playful 6 month old Quinn!

Oh Oh! Count me in! We're in NW Houston, Hwy 6 @ 290. I'm Kristen & my kiddos are Dominic-7 1/2 yrs (he's in school though), Kaitlin-3 1/2 yrs, & Seth- 5 1/2 months. Dh works 7 days a week, 10hrs a day so we are usually pretty open. I would love to try the zoo.

I'm new here, but I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to meet up!! I am about 45 minutes south of Houston on HWY59, but the drive is no prob for me. I have ZERO friends with kids, so Ava gets really bored . She is 16months old and we are available any time.

Ooo...a group outing to texas childrens museum would actually be perfect, something for kids of all ages and it's pretty inexpensive too.
