I might be the first to pop? EDD 12/19

Hey ladies, bad news bears. I went to the bathroom at 3am this morning and found that I was bleeding and passed several clots. A call to the dr. and we're at L&D. So far baby is doing great for being just shy of 30 weeks, and I'm doing ok too. Bleeding seems to be from a small abruption of the placenta which caused bleeding and clotting. One steroid shot down, one more to go in the a.m. then we wait and see. Strict bedrest right now in the hospital. Everyone says baby is doing wonderful though, and the statistics for a 29 week baby are good, I'm sure 30 weekers are even better, right? So, looks like we might get our little girl early-maybe as soon as Monday. Oh boy! The first December baby to pop isnt something I was hoping to claim! You know what stinks (besides the obvious)? I just bought 2 doz. infant size Little Lions prefolds, and a ton of OS covers! Grrrrr. Wont be needing those for quite a while! As long as baby is healthy though, it really doesnt matter.

Wow, Mama!! Scary stuff! Just glad everything is going okay and that the stats for a 30 weeker are so good. With the medical technology these days I'm sure your little girl will be absolutely fine! And I also hear that girls lungs develop quicker than boys, so even better! Keep us updated and let us know when she gets here

Feed how are ya"ll doing today??? Hopefully she is cooking good in there. And like they said don't worry the fluff will fit soon. And be thankful you caught it in time. There was a momma on here ( not in the group) but had something similar happen and the outcome wasn't good. I believe she had been on bed rest and wanted to go to walmart to get some shopping done before the baby came. And she had a huge pain. And the placenta tore from the wall. If anyone remembers that please fill in any gaps. Because it was a while ago. But just hang in there you caught it so everything should be great!
