oh my goodness! I hope everything works out ok and that she can stay in a little longer. And if not that she is a big healthy girl for her age! Please send us an update when you can!

Hi ladies, thank you for all the well wishes! We're both still doing well and baby is still baking and officially 30 weeks today! I still have a little bit of bleeding so I have to stay in L&D until it has stopped, then moved upstairs to pre/postpardum floor, THEN maybe sent home on bed rest after no bleeding for 24-48 hours. I had the second steroid shot for her lungs this morning, and everyone has only good things to say about her health, so we are feeling pretty good about everything. As much as this situation sucks and I'd rather be at home, it's really reassuring to hear her heartbeat constantly on the monitor.

This afternoon her daddy was talking kinda loud on his phone in the room and her heartrate sped up as he was talking. Hehe it was so cute! Already a daddy's girl at 30 weeks!

I hope everyone else is doing well! I wlll keep you all posted!

Oh, that is so sweet that she got excited at her Daddy's voice!! SO awesome!

Well, to tell you a positive DDC story so far. I was PG with twins *again* during this PG. At 11 wks, I lost one twin, full m/c was very obvious, but the other baby was just fine. At almost 20 wks, I had a high leak, that was quite obvious too. I did modified bedrest, but it sealed back up, or was on and off, not quite sure which. They say if you have a leak that early, it usually ends badly. Well, SHE stayed put. WE found out she was a girl 2 days later. Then, my BP started going crazy, but evened out, and although that seems to be going up again, I am still okay with it. So, then at 26 wks, I have another high leak, but it reseals in a couple days. I have some funneling, but I am also a grand multipara, with no real complications with any of my other PGs. So, here I am at 30 wks exactly, and she is kicking and staying put. I haven't had back aches in a long while, and never on total bedrest, although I have put myself on home bedrest at some times just to be safe. And, I have been taking it easy because I have so many diaper things to get done, only intentional because I have to keep sewing. But, it has probably been a good thing.

I think she/he will do fine. You are at a good point, although we want him/her to stay in as long as possible. I will say a prayer for you. Happy Gestating!!Kymberli

Its good your in the hospital and they can monitor her. May be best to stay there till she is ready. Great outcomes can occur in this situation, but bad ones can arise quickly. So trust in the your dr if they say Strict bedrest. Dont wanna harm the baby and no know it.

Im lurking by the way. But wanted to let you know im putting you in my prayers.

Hi mama, we're praying for you! It isn't over til the baby pops out though. Perhaps you can keep the baby in at least for a few more weeks I hope! Keep us posted, and I hope it's just a scare, and not the "real thing".
