Does anyone have time to knit some sweaters?

DS has one acrylic hand knit hand-me-down super cute hoodie that I would love vaguely reproduced in about four different colors (you know- a guy needs some flair in his wardrobe). I don't have a hoodie pattern, I looked on ravelry and saw a couple but nothing sensational. I was thinking of using cheap-o patons or getting in on the cc cestari coop for yarn.

Does anyone have time to knit sweaters? Would they be more or less expensive than longies (I can skip the hood)? Would they take a long time? he is kinda a 12 month-long. The debbie bliss book that I started a sweater from would fit him perfectly in their 12-24 mo size. But I have decided that I can't knit anything that is not in the round because I am a lame pearl-er.

help.

thanks so much but DS can't rock that much pink, his blonde curls and amber necklace cause him problems as it is.

I could perhaps help. My wait isn't too terribly long at the moment.
For the most part, my charge for sweaters would be slightly more than for longies. That mainly depends on what the sweaters are like though. If you purchased the book, I do believe it's fine to send me the pattern to knit from.
Do PM me if you are interested.

If you want to tackle them yourself, the KP&S baby tunic is a similar style. it's knit top-down, with raglan sleeves, so it's all in the round and seamless.

easy peasy.
