annoying but confirms the all the reasons i left ds. i returned only to sell some wool. look forward to leaving again.

My kids think they need more legos now. but mommy, it's a GREEN box!

WHy does the girl not have a shirt on with overalls?? is this 1925??? weird advertising tactics.

Y'all should really try adblock plus if you have firefox. It...well...blocks ads. All of them. If they aren't already in the system, you can right click and tell it to block them, and it will block anything that matches the same profile as the one you click! It's SO nice. I'm always so startled when I use someone else's computer and there are ads everywhere...I've forgotten what it's like to use a normal browser! Click here to go to the download page for it.

Edited to add: shot of what it looks like without adblock, and then with adblock. Notice that not only is the background plain, the banner and sidebar ads are gone AND the google ads are gone.

I don't mind the banner ads that don't scamper across the page but the auto starting video and audio kill my bandwidth. We have satellite and have a limited amount of bandwidth alloted to us per... whatever. I don't even think the co. understands how they count it - but when they decide we've used it up we can't get online for the next 24 hours. So when these ads take up all my bandwidth {it doesn't take much to do so when something auto starts} I'm not a

camper.
I'm going to try the blockers - altho' d/l-ing them will prob put us over the top of our bandwidth.
