The adblocker on Firefox didn't work for me.

I don't mind ads overall. DS does have to have money. I think this is a little over the top. That's all.

I'm glad Lee let us know why it's there and that it's going away. I'll just continue to lay low until it's gone.

Ditto this, I'll be glad tonight when it's gone It's making things move soooo freaking slowly, and we have really great internet. I'll have to check out that ad blocker...

I have had AdBlock Plus on this computer for a long time and it's worked like a charm, never had a virus and don't see annoying ads. It's easy to install and set up and saves a lot of hassle!

Did you set it up? Click on "Tools" then "Add Ons". Click on "AdBlock Plus" and then click the "Options" button. AdBlock Plus preferences will pop up. Click on "Filters" then "Add filter subscription" and check the USA easy list and hit OK. You might have to restart firefox, but that will take your ads away

I think I love you! Just added this and ALL the ads are gone and my pages are loading so much more quickly now

I tried that, but when I clicked on "Add filter subscription" there was no options listed at all. I typed in USA, USA easy list, neither worked. Then, I typed in www.diaperswappers.com. That did it, but I lost all the background and it was a little challenging to navigate because everything was just listed with no boxes or differentiation. It was worse. I wonder how I get options under the add filter subscriptions. Maybe I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling.

You have to go into the settings and tick the box for 'Web Advertisements' (at the very bottom).
