Milk allergy or something else?
I am not a dairy eater, maybe some string cheese here or there, or something like Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing. I never drink straight milk or eat things like ice cream due to a slight sensitivity I have to mil products.
Last night I had Lasagna for dinner. I ate around 10pm, after Callie went to bed. She woke at 6:45 and ate. At 9ish she had an explosive diaper, everything looked normal. I fed her again at this point. At 11am she had another very messy diaper, but once again, everything looked good (mustardy, seedy ect). She played on her play mat from 11-12ish, happy as can be...started to fuss and and I was redressing her from changing her diaper she started screaming. Totally uncontrollable like she was in pain. I thought maybe her leg was sore and I moved her the wrong way (she had shots late last week) so I gave her a dose of tylonal. She would not eat at all, pulled away from the breast and would scream every time I offered. She finally fell asleep on me and slept from 12:20-4:30. She was happy when she got up, ate again and played. At 6:30 she started fussy and when I changed her her stools were green and mucusy. She was once again inconsolable and this time had a slight fever of 99...I gave her another dose of Tylonal to help with the fever, but once again was totally inconsolable, would not take a bottle or the breast. She is producing tears and is still having wet diapers...But I am thinking the cheese from the lasagne might be messing with her...any thoughts? |
